The roots of Carolina Hearth & Patio run deep. The owners have been a part of the Boiling Springs business community for many years.  In 1987, their first business, B. Scott Marlowe – Building houses and created fireplace mantels for his own projects as well as for other local builders.  In 2000, they started selling the complete fireplaces in addition to the mantels; and Marlowe & Co. was born as a retail store. The business progressively grew; and the name changed in 2003 from Marlowe & Co. to Carolina Hearth & Patio.  In 2006, the company opened the existing 5000 sq. ft. showroom and we have continued to expand the product offerings to try to hold on in this constantly-changing economy.

We don’t just sell fireplaces, wood stoves, gas logs, and mantels; we also show a fabulous selection of gas grills, charcoal grills, and smokers (including the area’s largest in-stock selection of Weber and Big Green Egg). In addition, Carolina Hearth & Patio offers patio furniture and accessories including rugs, outdoor lighting, artwork, patio accessories, fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, and outdoor kitchens. Lots of everyday needs are also available year-round: fireplace accessories, BBQ accessories, contemporary glass burners, propane tanks; and we fill propane tanks.

We want you to be happy with your selection for years to come. If you don’t see what you need or want, we can be very creative and can help design whatever is needed.  We still maintain a builder’s license which allows us to build or customize inside your home and/or construct your dream outdoor room.  Even stone installation is available for almost any application.

 

Our installers and technicians have been through hours of grueling and expensive training to gain NFI (National Fireplace Institutes) certification and other educational courses; this gives us a true working knowledge of the products we sell and install. We offer delivery, installation, and service for all products that we sell.
